I was making a list of things I'd like to print this year, and holiday wrapping paper is near the top of the list (after another letterpress calendar). Last fall I designed this one for Isabella Smith and it was sold in Europe and Scandinavia through her stores/catalog/website.

This adorable gift wrap by Hello! Lucky is a mainstay in my gift cabinet. I can't bear to part with the scraps, so I've used little pieces as gift tags and even as envelope liners. There is something so joyous about this little chickie! Those girls over at Hello! Lucky always infuse their designs with happiness, don't they?

This year I had two major "wish I could print" goals: a letterpress calendar (done! check it out here) and gift wrap. While delphine won't be releasing any wrap in time for the holidays this year, I DID design some for a client who will be using it in their stores in Denmark. Above are two rejected designs. After it has been printed I will post photos of the final product.

My sweet, dear, and incredibly talented friend Mel, of JOY by Mel Lim, designed these adorable geese. I fell in love with the wrapping paper she designed, traded her two strong cocktails for a pack of paper, and wallpapered our powder room with it. We finished off the room with the amazing wall decals she designed (distributed by BLIK). I wish I had thought to take before shots ... the bathroom was a horrific dark brick red color. THANK YOU MEL for inspiring us.
