I'm so pleased to announce that we were chosen as this quarter's featured letterpress studio by Strathmore! I was honored to design their call for entries for the Strathmore Show graphic design contest, and was really happy to have a chance to work with their beautiful new thistle logo, which was designed by the uber talented Marian Bantjes.

So after this squirrel post I promise I'll give squirrels a rest for a while. But seriously, how sickingly cute are these paper squirrel favors? I'd write a guest's name on the "log" and they could double as place cards. Almost makes me want to throw a party! (If only it weren't for the cooking and cleaning part!) When I was a little girl, my Mémé Delphine gave me a set of sweet strawberry note paper. I remember opening and closing the box, counting each sheet, and carefully writing a thank you note to her, but not wanting to use the rest of the note paper. It went into my "museum" of special objects: a green box that went in a special drawer of my desk. Those strawberry note sheets started my love of stationery, and the memory was the inspiration for these strawberry notes that I printed for my bff's five-year-old daughter, Leah.

National Stationery Show Update

So I had these big plans ... I was going to post from the National Stationery Show every day with photos and updates. Obviously this is not happening. I have no real excuse other than that I have been so busy that I haven't had a chance to touch the computer...and also I lost my camera for a few days. I'm headed out early to the Javits today so that I can take some photos.

Our annual Monday Morning Mimosas was a blast (co-hosted with Russell+Hazel) and I would like to thank everyone for taking the time out of your schedules to join us.
