wish list: e's poster

I don't care if it's slightly narcissistic ... j'adore (and I'd love to own) this "E" letterpress poster in my studio! French Press makes lots of other letter posters (hand-set wood type letterpressed on their Vandercook, no less), but I humbly submit that the "E" is the best letter in the alphabet. Check out their sweet ETSY shop.

font geek moment: archer

Archer, by Hoefler & Frere-Jones, is an impossibly cool font, right? I love all the different weights, especially the thin italic and light small caps.

typography

Loving this fun numbers only font by Hoefler & Frere-Jones: Depot. Would be nice on a save the date or a vintage-looking birth announcement ... or as street address in a shop window.

fair type

photos of San Diego County Fair by delphine

I went to the San Diego County Fair yesterday in Del Mar, California, and was inspired by the kooky typography and could not stop taking photos. I also could not stop eating cotton candy. Or funnel cakes. Or candy apples ... ugh.

love this pillow

I'm a sucker for anything with letters/numbers on it, as I'm a not-so-secret typophile. This fun pillow from Urban Outfitters would look chic in an urban studio ... or adorable in a kids room.
