Today I am headed downtown to pick up a friend at the airport, which is a very good excuse (in my opinion) to head to Extraordinary Desserts in Little Italy (in downtown San Diego) for a celebratory, um, snack. My friend is a confessed dessert-junkie, so I think this will be the perfect introduction to a fabulous weekend.
